Sometimes
it can be difficult to obtain recycle information on certain items. These are unusual items that you don't want
to throw away in the trash.
The
first items are candle jars. There is
the leftover wax that is a concern. To
remove the wax, put the jar in the freezer for an hour. Tap the bottom of the jar and the wax will
pop right out. Used crayons can be put
in a small box and sent to a program called Crazy Crayons that will melt down
the wax and turn them into new crayons. Give your kids the incentive to recycle with activities like these!
